This is what we love about Nicki, the rawness! She goes hard in this new track, ‘Chir-raq,’ ft. Lil Herb.
But did she go too hard? Nicki makes reference to Malcolm X’s daughter in the song — “Malcolm X daughter came at me, looking ass n*ggas ain’t happy.” Is she out of line? I don’t know, she may catch a lot of heat for that one.
Apart from that, I hope Nicki continues with this gritty rap flow on her new album, The Pink Print, which is expected to drop in a few months.
On another note, who is Lil Herb?
According to Complex, he’s Chicago’s toughest new talent. Among Chief Keef, Chance the Rapper, Lil Durk, and many others this 18-year-old rapper is Chicago’s next young rapper.
Being a feature on Nicki Minaj’s song is definitely a good look for him.
